SHANGHAI, LONDON & SOMERVILLE — June 9, 2026 — Ailux, an AI-native biotech company, today announced preclinical data on its AI-optimized, CD3-masked CD19×BCMA T-cell engager presented at the 2026 European Alliance of Associations for Rheumatology (EULAR) Congress in London. These data demonstrate that the company’s CD3-masked CD19×BCMA TCE achieves deep and broad B-cell depletion across preclinical models, while maintaining low, transient cytokine release. The molecule is designed for autoimmune diseases, where the goal is to achieve meaningful immune reset with carefully controlled T-cell activation.

Key preclinical findings from Poster POS1144 include:
  • Target-dependent T-cell activation: The CD3-masked TCE showed minimal baseline CD3 binding and T-cell activation, while engaging strongly in the presence of CD19- and/or BCMA-expressing target cells.
  • Potent B-cell depletion with low cytokine release: Ex vivo, the molecule potently depleted autologous B cells in PBMCs from systemic lupus erythematosus (SLE) donors. In cynomolgus monkeys, a single 5 mg/kg subcutaneous dose produced deep and broad depletion of peripheral and tissue B cells with low, transient IL-6 and TNF-α release.
  • Subcutaneous exposure profile: In cynomolgus monkeys, the molecule showed stable serum half-life and high bioavailability, supporting its potential for subcutaneous administration.
